About TreVonne Coleman

TreVonne Coleman is a Black Afro-Latin, first-generation, Colorado State University graduate with a degree in theatre performance and a minor in Spanish Communications. His mission within theatre is to create an environment where BIPOC and all of their intersectional identities (LGBTQ, Disabilities, etc.) may create inclusive and intricate art. He wishes to be an example unto other young men of color in his efforts to prove that life is more than a statistic. is a local performer from Colorado Springs. Some of his credits include being a featured solo performance of “Life is a Bowl of Cherries” for the H.O.P.E Project, the role of Magistrate in Lysistrata, Cabaret at Breckenridge Backstage Theatre and the CSFAC 2023 production In the Heights. His tech credits include assistant stage manager and soundboard operator for Sojourners: Project Busing, a devised play written, produced and casted with an mostly Black production. Some outreach projects he has collaborated on are Kids Do It All, a summer camp that introduces theater to children and served as president for one year on the CSU Theatre Diversity and Inclusion Committee (TDIC). As a strong advocate for theatre for change, TreVonne believes that now is the time for Black and Brown artists to be in the spotlight and bring an entire new aura to the mainstage.
